Medved is now broadcast in
Seattle on KTTH, 770 AM
radio.
"So I would ask Medved and his fellow freedom frauds, given the
choice between those who stand up publicly for what's right by voting
libertarian -- in a venue where, in terms of swaying the public, one vote for a
third party candidate is easily worth 100 votes for anybody -- and those who
vote for Republicans in the demonstrably false hope of achieving freedom in our
lifetimes, who's really masturbating, here?

sound
familiar? "In the end, more than
freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it
all; security, comfort and freedom. When the Athenians finally wanted not to
give to society but for society to give to them, when the freedom they wished
for most was freedom from responsibility then Athens ceased to be free and was
never free again."
*Edward Gibbon (1737-1794 Historian)
After the 2000 elections, talk radio host
Michael Medved (nationally syndicated talk host employed by Salem Radio
Network; flagship station, KTTH, Seattle) began providing free national publicity for Libertarians with his
strident and caustic attacks on "Losertarians" who spoil elections for
Republicans [and other transgressions, in the mind of Medved]. Just
imagine: MM could expand his syndicate with a new Fox TV series, "When
Medved Attacks!!" - parental discretion advised.
Because of the short-attention span nature of
talk radio, an ad hoc group of Libertarians is forming to present clear,
concise responses to Mr. Medved's often histrionic attacks on
Libertarians.
If you listen to Michael Medved, and have a
clear and concise response to his assaults on Libertarians, please submit your
article to the Libertarian Medved Response Team (LMRT). Your article will be
considered for publication at the LMRT pages. Please submit your document as
Word or Wordperfect file format, to
lmrt [a*t] exordia.net. Also
send any address links to existing articles on other web sites, regarding
Medved's "Losertarian" tirades.
Cite the date of any particular Medved
program to which you are responding
Quickly summarize the nature of Medved's
attack
Keep your response on topic, clear and
concise
Avoid personal attacks on Mr.
Medved

by citing the web address (see top of page) when you call into the show. Write
down the web address, now. [ spoken as, "medvedrt-dot-us-dot-tt" ] Once several
good articles are posted at LMRT, these can be used as resources to develop
your rhetoric to phone the Medved program. A national phone tree can be
developed to quickly get Libertarian calls into the program.
